Upcoming meeting with representatives of Russian regions

State Duma deputy Dmitry Kuznetsov and Representatives of regional administrations proposed to increase the quota for highly qualified refugees from Western countries.
On April 6, 2023, the State Duma hosted a conference dedicated to the program of additional attraction of qualified specialists to the regions:
Farmers, IT specialists and investors from the countries of the global West.
Tim Kirby (American), Fabriz Sorlin (French) and Thomas Rapper (German) told the participants of the event how their compatriots are ready to share their skills and competencies for the development of the economy of the regions of Russia.
Svetlana Rose (coordinator of the Resettlement Headquarters) reported on the work of the Headquarters, and also told about the organization of distance Russian language coursers for foreigners.
According to the results of the Conference, an appeal will be sent to the Government of the Russian Federation with a request to simplify the immigration process for immigrants from the West.
